Some eastern itineraries include Patna. Takht Sri Patna Sahib commemorates Guru Gobind Singh Sahib’s birth, which is a later, separate history.

The Journey

Do not confuse Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s possible traditional stop with the later Takht of Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. Any Nanak-period visit remains traditional attribution.

The Sakhi

Later compilations sometimes fold Patna into a Ganga-plain route. No sakhi is invented here.
